So if you have 100 devices again, and half of them are Wifi 5 and half are Wifi 6, this is still going to be a bit slow for everybody, not just for the Wifi 5 devices. However, if you also have Wifi 5 devices on that same network, they still go one at a time and this includes blocking the Wifi 6 devices. Wifi 6 begins to solve this - if the access point/router is Wifi 6 and the devices are also Wifi 6 then they will be able to use the wifi simultaneously with each other. But if you have 100 devices on the Wifi 5 network and each one is waiting for its turn, it starts to feel slow. They take turns very rapidly, so you don't normally even notice with just a few devices.
